Residential Services Program

Eloura currently provides accommodation and residential support services in group home settings for more than 30 people in the Blue Mountains. We have been providing quality residential services for more than two decades. The Residential Services Program is funded by the NSW Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (DADHC).

Social Inclusion

Service users of Eloura have access to a range of activities, programs, education and work opportunities to support community participation and encourage social inclusion. Outings, residential holidays and participation in TAFE and work related activities are encouraged and supported by staff.

Specialist Staff

Staff working within Eloura Residential Services are regularly trained in a variety of areas including Adult Autism, Epilepsy, Risk Management and First Aid. The Program also employs a Social Educator to work one-to-one with service users in developing and strengthening their daily living skills and reaching their individual goals. The Behaviour Management Worker on the team provides support and training to the Residential Workers to develop behaviour management plans and actions where necessary.
