Bequests
What is a bequest?
A bequest is a gift made in your Will. When making your Will, it is important to get advice from a solicitor, state or public trustee or trustee company to ensure that your will is properly executed and that you have adequately provided for those close to you.
After providing for your family and loved ones, you may wish to leave a legacy with Eloura ('Blue Mountains Disability Services Ltd') in the form of a bequest to support our on-going work with people with a disability.
How you can leave a bequest to Blue Mountains Disability Services Ltd.
There are many options if you decide to leave a bequest to Blue Mountains Disability Services Ltd. After providing for your loved ones and receiving legal advice, you may wish to consider as a bequest:
- A specific amount of money
- A percentage of your estate
- The whole or part of the residue of your estate, after personal beneficiaries have been considered
- Particular items such as shares or property
- A gift through a perpetual trust that will provide ongoing financial support
